The future starts with people
A new chapter for humanity. That is the promise at the heart of The Star Age: an original science-fiction saga about what happens when humanity reaches beyond Earth, and the lives, choices and relationships that make the journey matter.
Development began on 1 October 2026. The stories are set in 2137, a future in which humanity has built communities beyond its home planet and is beginning to encounter a much larger universe.
The visual direction balances discovery and ambition with recognisable human life. Advanced technology belongs alongside shared meals, places to unwind, friendships and the need to feel at home.
A home among the stars
UNCOM Waymark is the ship at the heart of the project’s first visual exploration. Around 200 people make up its crew. The ship is a working environment and a home, with spaces for command, research and everyday life.
Its curved dimensional field vanes and integrated central core give it a distinctive silhouette. Those forms are part of the approved design direction. The story will give the ship meaning through the people aboard and the choices they face.
One uniform. A shared purpose
UNCOM means United Nations Command. Its visual identity brings different roles together within one recognisable uniform system: exploration, command, operations, research, diplomacy and security.
The faces in the current uniform designs demonstrate that visual direction. They are not yet announcements of the final named cast. The manning of Waymark and the individual characters are part of the next stage of development.
Beyond Earth, closer to home
Near the Moon’s south pole, Shackleton has around 2,400 permanent residents in 2137. Founded as a permanent base in 2035, it combines research and industry with protected living spaces beneath the surface.
On Mars, Arcadia is humanity’s second home. A settlement founded in 2045 has grown into a city of around 500,000 people in Arcadia Planitia. Connected, pressurised districts make room for homes, schools, parks and everyday life.
These places help establish the human world from which the larger journey begins. Detailed maps, districts and interior arrangements are still being developed.
Graphic novels first
The Star Age is planned as three sagas. Each saga begins with at least three graphic novels, followed by a prose novel that continues the experience. Audio and other ways to explore the universe are future possibilities as production develops.
The immediate work is to develop the cast, strengthen the story and make the visual world consistent enough to carry it. There is no finished first book, reading sample or publication date to promise yet.
Be here from the beginning
This site is a first invitation into a universe in the making. Through the Newsroom, we will share selected designs and development updates as the project progresses. Some discoveries will come early; others belong in the stories themselves.
